In 2017, Monica Förster was Design Director at Swedese, a Swedish family-owned furniture brand. Monica commissioned C F A Projects — an agency which I co-founded — to create a visual language unlike anything that already existed.
My partner, Marcus Söder, and I brought in the talented photographer Erik Wåhlström. The rest is history. Over the course of a year, we built an image archive of more than 250 unique photographs. The idea was to place Swedese’s iconic and new furniture in real environments and homes, capturing genuine, analog snapshots of everyday life.
These images are from the first release in 2017, shot at Wetterling Gallery, at a design agency, at a stylists home, at a hotel, at Stadsbiblioteket, and in our studio.
